CAC Basketball is always looking for basketball enthusiasts to join our staff! For those looking to continue both playing and being involved in hoops you’ve come to the right place!
CAC STAT-KEEPERS
Do you enjoy playing and watching basketball? You can get paid to cover recreational league games, and even play for free! Check out a league (5v5 Draft Standings) to get an idea of how in-depth the leagues are. Our stat-keepers are instrumental to the success of the leagues. With full stats and recaps of every single league game posted online, the leagues are fun, competitive and interactive!
Responsibilities include: Scoring basketball games. Tracking all stats (points, rebounds, assists, etc) for each game. Posting results online within 24 hours of the end of games. Providing written recaps of each game Additional opportunities to create content for the website through blog entries are also available
The main purpose of the stat-keeper is to generate a competitive energy within an individual league and create rivalries that keep teams coming back season after season. Churning out recaps every week just describing the game doesn’t cut it, you need to get to know the players personally and create a compelling narrative throughout the whole season!
Interested parties should have access to a vehicle in order to get to and from games as well as a willingness to work hard, have fun and help keep the CAC Basketball leagues the best in the city! There are many shifts available and most new staff members work 6-10 hours each throughout the week on Sunday night through Thursday night. CAC REFS
CAC Basketball adult leagues are looking for IAABO certified officials for our dozens of games every night of the week! CAC Basketball leagues are fun, competitive and interactive, and the willingness of staff to go above and beyond sets the leagues apart.
Basketball officials are responsible for working with other staff to fairly enforce league basketball rules and interact with CAC Basketball players in a respectful, professional manner as well as show up on time to shifts in the Cambridge and Somerville area.
Games are played week round, year round so officiating with us is a great way to make some extra money and hone your skills during times of the year when high school or AAU games are not being played.
Basketball Officials are paid $30 per game and there is opportunity to work as few as 2 hours per week or as many as 16 for those dedicated and looking to perfect their craft. Please reach out to Jason@CACBasketball.com if you’re interested.
