Championship game was a dogfight. Tight D on both sides early — 5 mins in, NAS up 9-5.
Sydorko had Isak in a box clamped up and even swatted his top-of-the-key 3… but Isak grabbed the rebound and splashed the redemption triple. That lit the fuse, Isak went maniac from deep. Hit 7 threes when it was all said and done.
NAS stayed locked. EJ called a timeout after Sydorko’s 2nd foul — got the squad focused on the NEXT PLAY. Kap was facilitating the rock and came up with a big-time block on Scott and was just a menace on D. Slick clocked in and splashed two quick threes from the corner before the half. 31-31 at the break.
The second half brought more fireworks. Barbour almost converted a wild 4-point play at 13:50, while Isak hit his seventh triple with 11:00 remaining. Barbour answered with his sixth three at 9:45, keeping NAS ahead in a back-and-forth shootout.
Barbour was working and the Dough Boys dropped 36 on them. Everything was falling for him.
Then came EJ’s closer moment — checked out around the 3 minute mark and said to the team, “Finish the F’n game.” So much aura
Final: 66-52 NAS. Dough Boys had a hell of a season, but NAS just built different, plain and simple
